Calderwood is a cheese made by our friends @jasperhillfarm by washing cheese wheels in brine for 6 months before being coated with fibers of hay and aged for an additional 5 months. Firm, nutty and complex with hints of earth, caramel, toasted bread and tropical fruit…this cheese is a flavor frenzy! . . . . 11/29/2020 #milkfarmlunch 1) HCB: French ham, Crescenza, cracked black pepper, & herbed butter on baguette 2) SPECK: brie, fig jam and greens on baguette 3) MUFFALETTA: salami, mozzarella, greens, aioli and herbs on focaccia 4)MILKFARM GRILLED CHEESE 5)THE CLAUDINE: wine cured salami, gruyere, cucumber, cracked pepper and herbed butter on baguette.

I’m grateful for relationships with other businesses that make this little shop go ’round, for my team of Cheesemongers (of yesterday, today and tomorrow) that continue to make this cheese shop a fun, delicious, and educational resource for the community, and for our customers (1st-timers ?regulars) who keep our doors open and the bounty of cheeses flowin’!
