Happy Beaujolais Nouveau Day! Historically in France, wine grape growers would celebrate the end of the harvest season by drinking a “vin du primeur”, or early wine, that is released in the same year it is made. These wines are meant to be enjoyed ASAP and with a chill. We may not have any true French Beaujolais Nouveau, but we have lots of California versions to enjoy this year, including this Tempranillo Nouveau from @angelenowine (that we helped to harvest!).
