City Pop is a jasmine rice lager, which means that the beer was made with jasmine rice as well as barley (one of the main ingredients of beer). This produces and ultra light, crisp, & refreshing beverage with just a hint of rice-y nuttiness. This blue is so fun – densely creamy, with a candy-like sweetness, but also with an underlying beefy funk. This isn’t a gray donut!…it’s CHEESE! Roue Ardoisée is a “wheel” of goat cheese (sometimes these cheeses are called a donuts or crowns ) dusted on the outside with ash. Perfect with summer melon and a glass on Sancerre.
