Virtual Cheese Class and Tasting with Essex Street Cheese

Join us for a Virtual Cheese Class and Tasting on June 7th at 6pm!
We are THRILLED to parter with Cheese Educators and Cheese Science Experts Rachel Juhl and Jess Perrie of Essex St. Cheese for a class and tasting of cheeses from their portfolio. Join us as we venture around the world, tasting and learning about several cheeses from gurus in the industry. We are excited to pivot from the norm, and bring cheese school online via Zoom!
Our relationship with Essex St. Cheese runs deep. They are the premier selector and importer of European artisan cheeses like our Marcel Petite Comte, L’Amuse Gouda, Brabander Gouda, and more. We work closely with them to bring the most authentic traditional cheeses to our cheese case, and as chief educator for Essex St. Cheese, our host Rachel Juhl is an expert!
Join us via Zoom as Rachel guides us through a tasting of four incredible, and wildly different cheeses from their portfolio. Learn about how they are made, the rules and regulations that pertain to making each cheese, and everything in between!
Cost: $45. The portion size of cheese included in this price is intended for one person. Of course, we understand that you may be quarantine-ing with another person….and you can absolutely share! But, please consider purchasing one ticket per person to ensure you have enough cheese to enjoy the event for the full 1.5 hours.
What is included:
- Four- 2oz pieces of cheese
- Accoutrement (crackers, jam and Milkfarm cheese spreader)
- Essex Street Cheese cheese booklet!
- 1.5 hours of education from experts in the industry
