Our fundraising efforts for those impacted by the Eaton Fire continues with our next donor: Girl Meets Dirt.
Audra and the team from the Orcas Islands have donated cases of their fabulous Donut Peach with Lime Spoon Preserves for us to sell. *100% of the proceeds are going to be donated to an organization of their choosing, and as a fellow female business owner, they have chosen Regarding Her. Regarding Her is collecting donations, which will go directly to women-owned small businesses restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, pop-ups, and more as they work to rebuild and recover.
*100% of proceeds is 97% of the sale, as we are only taking out 3% for merchant fees.
The Product: Donut Peach w/ Lime Spoon Preserves
“A special release from our farmer friends across the mountains, this one has a touch of whimsy. We’re pretty partial to donuts in general, but when they come shaped like a peach, and taste like a peach, we’re floored. Our ‘Donut’ Peach with Lime Preserves features glorious heirloom Saturn peaches (aka ‘Donut’) grown meticulously and naturally by Smallwood Farms in Okanogan, WA and shaped like a donut and accented with organic lime juice and zest.
Perfectly suitable for adults, this jam reminds founder Audra of a certain super hot summer spent mostly in the backyard with her best friend, store bought peaches, seven-up, ice, a blender, and a boombox. It’s THAT good. Nowadays she’d recommend pairing it with stinky cheese like taleggio or blue cheese, or placed on a charcuterie board with salty meat like coppa. And it can’t be beat on ice cream.”
