Beaujolais Nouveau Day!

Beaujolais Nouveau from Domaine Dupeuble is spectacular. Most Nouveaux when they appear are sort of superficial, even if sometimes spectacularly, pleasantly superficial. Not this one.

This one has depth, and the lovely perfume invites you in to explore those depths.  It’s also a pretty fleshy mouthful of wine, with a welcome tannin. I doubt there will be any left in any bottles once they’ve been uncorked. Have fun, and if you are going to drink, don’t forget to respect all moral standards. –Kermit Lynch
