Raclette comes from the French word racler which means “to scrape.” We broil a half wheel of Reading Raclette on a large cheese broiler\, then scrape the melted cheese over fingerling potatoes\, arugula\, cornichons\, dijon\, (and speck optional). \nRaclette will only be offered on First Fridays in addition to the usual Friday night menu which already includes: Grilled Cheese\, Mac & Cheese\, Cheese Plates\, Beer and Wine.

DESCRIPTION:Beaujolais Nouveau from Domaine Dupeuble is spectacular. Most Nouveaux when they appear are sort of superficial\, even if sometimes spectacularly\, pleasantly superficial. Not this one. \nThis one has depth\, and the lovely perfume invites you in to explore those depths.  It’s also a pretty fleshy mouthful of wine\, with a welcome tannin. I doubt there will be any left in any bottles once they’ve been uncorked.
