DESCRIPTION:Here at Milkfarm\, we’ve been mindfully brainstorming sustainable\, long-term ways to fundraise and give to those in need. I hope you will join in our efforts as we raise what we can for individual people\, families\, pets\, and outstanding organizations. By continuing to support our little cheese shop\, you will help sustain our business by keeping our doors open and our employees staffed\, while simultaneously assisting us with our fundraising efforts…plus you’ll get to enjoy delicious Milkfarm rations in the process! Please continue to check the calendar for what we have scheduled so far. \nWe’ll be doing the best we can to make on-going donations throughout the entire YEAR\, so that we may assist those in need and rebuild the community around us. This is a marathon\, not a sprint\, and we plan on making it to the finish line hand-in-hand with with all of you. \nWe are thrilled to partner up with our friends at Friendly Noise for a FREE(ish) tasting and Meet the Maker event to fundraise for The Outdoor Air Worker Emergency Fund. The tasting will be held at our back table inside Milkfarm and is FREE-ish (well\, legally $0.25 per ABC rules…we can’t give away free alcohol!)\, and is open to all over 21 years of age. \nCome taste through some cider\, wine and piquette. What is “piquette”? Saturday is a great day for you to try it out and learn all about it from the pros that make it! Friendly noise is donating 100% of the sales of their Gravenstein Western Cider and Wizard Water Piquette sold during the Meet the Maker event\, and we are matching that donation by giving 100% of the proceeds to the cause! \n*The definition of 100% of PROCEEDS for us during these fundraisers is 97% of the sales\, as we are only taking 3% to cover merchant fees since most folks pay with a credit card these days. Thank you!
