DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to host pi00a (pie-oh-a) for our next Meet the Maker. Meet the Maker events are FREE and open to all! Meet\, greet\, try and buy! We currently stock (and will be sampling) three of their Margherita\, Quattro Formaggi\, and Soppressata! \n\nWhen Melody and Russ started their pizza business in 2011\, they witnessed firsthand how the deaf people in their community struggled to get hired by other companies. So they shifted their focus to cross-training; their mission was to give Deaf employees an opportunity to work whether they had no or little job experience. In addition\, they removed any communication barrier by creating a 100% accessible workplace using American Sign Language. They know very well that Deaf people are quick learners\, and hiring them builds their confidence. \nOn the food side of the business\, Melody and Russ draw inspiration from their respective backgrounds- Melody hails from Hong Kong\, and Russ grew up in New York City. As a result\, their infusion dishes and pizzas received glowing reviews.
